Last day of the PT and [wow] Physics will be one of the tests (What a great way to end the PT's) but the best part there is that Physics is the first test we took and for the record our professor in Physics is just one room away from us and some of us were taking the test outside of the room because the electric fans inside weren't working and he frequently exits the room he's in so he kinda monitors us in a way. The test was well, kinda.. sorta..like.. um.. difficult but I never surrendered. I answered the test with all my knowledge. I was digging deep inside my brain, trying to find a way on how to answer the questions. I was trying to do my best out there. But after I answered all the questions given in that test (Well some of the answers) there was a sigh of relief and yet you know that some answers are wrong, you've made a mistake in calculations, all that stuff. But I always believed that doing your best is better than being the best. If you put your all in something then you can achieve. All in all I think I managed to do good on the test :]

An optical fiber (or fibre) is a glass or plastic fiber designed to guide light along its length by confining as much light as possible in a propagating form. In fibers with large core diameter, the confinement is based on total internal reflection. In smaller diameter core fibers, (widely used for most communication links longer than 200 meters) the confinement relies on establishing a waveguide. Fiber optics is the overlap of applied science and engineering concerned with such optical fibers. Optical fibers are widely used in fiber-optic communication, which permits transmission over longer distances and at higher data rates than other forms of wired and wireless communications. They are also used to form sensors, and in a variety of other applications.

For convex lens: [Object is beyond C]
First draw an incident ray parallel to the principal axis starting from the tip of the object to the mirror and then the reflected ray is reflected to the opposite direction of the focal point [F₁] and is extended so that the extension of the reflected ray is passing through F₁. For the second ray: Draw an incident ray starting from the tip of the object to the mirror to the direction of the focal point [F₁]. The ray is reflected back and is parallel to the principal axis. Mark the point where they meet. Do the same for the tail of the object. Then when you're done with the tail, connect the point where the rays meet for the tip and the point for the tail. You should now have an image which is smaller than the object and is upright. Convex Mirrors are also called Diverging Mirrors.

For concave mirror: [Object is beyond C]
First draw an incident ray parallel to the principal axis starting from the tip of the object to the mirror and then draw the reflected ray passing through the focal point.
Next draw an incident ray passing through the focal point starting from the tip of the object to the mirror. The reflected ray, just like the incident ray of the first ray, is parallel to the principal axis.
It is recommended that only 2 rays be represented but having a third ray is optional.
The incident ray of the third ray passes through the center starting from the tip of the object then is reflected back to the to the tip of the object. Do the same if you want for the tail of the object.
Then if you have done the above procedures, connect the point where all the rays of the tip of the object intersect to the point where all the rays of the tail intersect. You should now have an image which is smaller than the original object and is inverted. Concave mirror is also called Converging mirror.

Concave, Convex, Diverging, Converging, Mirrors, Magnitude,Focal Length, Radius of Curvature.....

These are some of the things that we are presently tackling and Damn..... They're hard...
Well... not exactly hard but I'm having trouble with formulas and if the answer should be positive or negative... But I kinda understand those things now and I'm very eager to answer some questions Mr. Mendoza would give us...

Lens is our next topic... The formulas we used in mirrors are the same with Lens so It's like tackling mirrors again but well its lens....

Periodic Exam starts next week... I think the test Mr. Mendoza would give us is very difficult.... He advices us to study early because he said the test will be of the utmost difficulty... So I think I'll try to prepare this time :D

Wavelengths, Decibels, Lambda, and Formulas.....
These are the things we've been discussing over the past few weeks... Although you have to memorize a lot, and I mean a LOT, of formulas, They're quite easy IF you understand it enough... Well.. Lessons we're hard, formula conversion is 2-3x as hard, and we got a test coming up.....
OMG! A test?!
